Chocolate Pecan Pie

This chocolate pecan pie requires no mixer. You can even use a store bought crust for a quick and delicious dessert.

ingredients  – pecan halves  – bittersweet chocolate chips – eggs – light corn syrup – light brown sugar – butter –  vanilla – pie crust

Place pie crust in a 9 inch glass pan. Prick the bottom and turn under and crimp edges.

Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until the sugar melts. Add eggs, vanilla, and nuts. Stir well.

Pour the mixture into pie shell and decorate  with pecans.  Bake for 1 hour, checking halfway to make sure the crust doesn't burn. Cover crust with aluminum foil if needed.
