Fresh Cranberry Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients flour butter sugar fresh cranberries lemon zest

Combine butter and sugar. Add flour 1/2 at a time. Add cranberries and zest. Wrap 1/2 of the dough in plastic wrap and roll into a log. Repeat Refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.

Slice dough into 1/4 inch rounds onto baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Switch pans by moving the top pan to the bottom and the bottom pan to the top, then bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cookies start to brown.
