Herbal Puff Pastry Pinwheels

Buttery and rich this herabl puff pastry pinwheel recipe is a great way to use all your garden herbs and create a fancy and tasty appetizer for your family and friends.

ingredients  – 2 sheets of puff pastry  – 1/2 cup fresh chopped herbs (I used basil, parsley and chives) – 1/3 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese – salt and pepper to taste – 1/3 cup olive oil or butter

1. Spread chopped herbs and olive oil over a puff pastry sheet and sprinkle with cheese.

3. Roll up the dough and place in the freezer for a few minutes. This will make it easier to cut.

4. Cut into 12 even pieces, place on a cookie sheet and press down with a glass cup then bake.

Perfect for any special occasion but easy enough for any day of the week.
