Slow Cooker Pot Roast Recipe with Root Vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound mixed bite sized potatoes or 3 large russet potatoes washed and cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 3 carrots peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 parsnips peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 turnips peeled and cut in quarters
  • 1 large onion cut into large pieces
  • 1 -2 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 envelope of Lipton's French Onion Soup Mix

Instructions
 

  • Place all vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Next place the roast on top.
  • Spread the Lipton's soup mix on top of the roast
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Serve immediately
