Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups ripe peaches diced small
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter 1 stick
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together.
  • In another bowl combine, milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix well
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in peaches.
  • Place large spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Remove fritters from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
