1.5 cups ripe peaches diced small 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup whole milk 1/2 cup melted butter 1 stick 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together.
In another bowl combine, milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix well
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
Fold in peaches.
Place large spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25- 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Remove fritters from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
