Cinnamon Baked Apple Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Use a sharp small knife to cut a hole in the center of each apple leaving about one inch on the bottom.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts in a bowl.
  • Stuff each apple with half of the butter and sugar mixture.
  • Place each apple in a greased ramekin.
  • Place the ramekins on a baking sheet in case any of the juices bubbles over.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the apples are soft.

Notes

You can use a small baking dish instead of ramekins.
You can substitute walnut for pecans.
