Emergency Candle Holder Tutorial

This emergency candle holder kit is made in a mason jar for easy access to a light source when the power goes out in your home.

Materials

  • Quart Mason Jar
  • Plastic coupling just big enough to fit your candle
  • Emergency Candles
  • Small Box of Matches
  • E6000 Glue

Instructions

  • Place a line of glue on the bottom of the coupling.
  • Set it in the middle of the underside of the mason jar lid.
  • Allow to set up.
  • Place several candles and a small box of matches in the mason jar.
  • Then screw on the lid and cap with the coupling inside.
  • When ready to use flip the lid upside down and place a candle in the coupling.
  • Screw the lid in place and light the candle.
  • Carry the lit candle around as needed.

Notes

Always use caution when dealing with candles. Never leave the candle burning unattended. Make sure the candle is set on a sturdy surface away from anything that can catch fire. Keep them out of children's reach.
Keep the candle holder kit under sinks or other places for easy access when needed.
