Deconstructed Egg Roll

Here's a great healthy and tasty recipe for an egg roll in a bowl. A healthy one pot meal you can make any day of the week.

  • Large Saute Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1.25 pounds cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrot sticks
  • 1 cup onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • sesame seeds garnish
  • sriracha sauce on the side

Instructions
 

  • Saute pork until browned.
  • Add onion and saute until soft about 2 minutes.
  • Add carrot sticks and shredded cabbage.
  • Allow the vegetables to wilt and cook down about 3 minutes tossing a few times.
  • Add ginger, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well.
  • Simmer for 2 additional minutes before serving with a garnish of sesame seeds and a little sriracha sauce on the side.
