Homemade New England Clam Chowder

Ingredients chopped clams & clam juice bacon celery garlic  onion  salt and pepper hot paprika flat leaf parsley vegetable broth cream baby red skin potatoes

1. Cook bacon in a large heavy bottomed pot until crispy. 2. Remove bacon, crumble and set aside.

3. Add onions and celery to the pot and saute in the bacon grease for 3-5 minutes until slightly wilted. 4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika and stir.

5. Add clam juice, vegetable broth, potatoes, and simmer for 15 minutes. 6. Add clams, crumbled bacon, parsley and cream 7. Reduce to medium low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
