1 pound mixed bite sized potatoes or 3 large russet potatoes washed and cut into 2 inch pieces 3 carrots peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces 2 parsnips peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces 2 turnips peeled and cut in quarters 1 large onion cut into large pieces 1 -2 pounds chuck roast 1 envelope of Lipton's French Onion Soup Mix
Place all vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Next place the roast on top.
Spread the Lipton's soup mix on top of the roast
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve immediately
