1 package of quick rise yeast 2 teaspoons of sugar 4 cups of all purpose flour 2 cups of warm water 2 teaspoons of salt 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese grated 1/4 cup or more of olive oil herbs and vegetables for toppings
Combine yeast, water, and sugar in a large bowl for 5 mins.
Add flour (a little at a time) to the yeast mixture and stir.
Add salt.
Remove dough from bowl and knead until it comes together and becomes less sticky. Add a little extra flour if needed.
Place dough in a bowl coated with olive oil and cover to rise for 1 hour.
Liberally grease a large baking pan with olive oil.
Stretch dough to fit pan.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Cover and allow to rise for 20 minutes more.
Use your fingertips to dimple or make divots in the dough.
Next, use herbs and vegetables on top of the dough to create a pretty decoration.
Drizzle more olive oil and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
