Equipment

  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
  • Color printer
  • Paintbrush

Instructions

  • Print and cut out the bees.
  • Turn your pot upside down.
  • Begin gluing the rope at the bottom edge and continue to wind it around the pot, gluing as you go.
  • At first, you will want to place the glue on the pot, but later it may benefit from being placed on the rope so that they stick together as closely as possible.
  • When you reach the top, start coiling the rope inward to complete the bee skep.
  • Glue a small piece of rope in a circle at the bottom center of the pot.
  • Paint the inside of the circle with black paint.
  • Glue some bees onto the bee skep.

Notes

Keep this craft away from the elements on a covered porch or indoors. Though the rope and the pots will do fine outdoors, the paper bees will not.
