Cut out the pockets from the back of a pair of jeans.
Use the legs to create a backing of two long pieces of fabric to place the pockets on.
Place the backing pieces right sides together, pin, and sew around the sides and bottom, leaving the top open.
Clip the bottom corners, then turn the backing right side out. Press with an iron.
Cut two pieces of denim 2 inches by 4 inches to make the straps to hang the organizer.
Fold each piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and sew the side.
Turn the straps right side out and press flat with the seam in the back.
Turn the open top edge of the backing under 1/4 inch and press.
Slide a D-ring onto each strap, fold in half, and pin them inside the open seam of the backing. a few inches apart.
Pin the pocket into place.
Sew a 1/4 seam all around the perimeter of the backing, encasing the straps.
Sew the pockets onto the back by folding the inside stitching lines on the sides and bottom, leaving the top open.
Use two nails or command hooks to hang your organizer and enjoy.
