DIY Large Fall Wreath for Your Front Door

Here's an easy DIY fall wreath tutorial you can make yourself with a grapevine base and artificial stems and berries. It's a great way to welcome guests during the fall all the way through Thanksgiving.

Equipment

Materials

  • 18 inch Grapevine Wreath Form
  • Various Green Leaf Foliage
  • Orange, Red or Brown Foliage
  • Yellow Flowers
  • Red/Orange Berries

Instructions

  • Start with green foliage stems. Cut them up in shorter smaller lengths.
  • Weave each stem into the grapevine base at equal distances.
  • Next, add fall foliage in shades of orange, rust, brown, etc.
  • Add a few yellow flowers around the wreath.
  • Finish with large berries in autumnal colors.
  • Hang the wreath, stand back, and adjust areas as needed.

Notes

If desired take a photo then disassemble the wreath and use a hot glue gun to place each piece back for a permanent solution. Or, use floral wire pieces on each floral stem and twist them around the grapevines.
You can also add additional accents to the wreath with pinecones, acorns, mini pumpkins, and a bow.
