DIY Wagon Wheel Wreath for Summer
This pretty farmhouse wagon wheel wreath is decorated with beautiful faux flowers and greenery that will look great as your front door summer home decor.
Equipment
- Hot glue gun
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
Materials
- 1 wooden wagon wheel wreath base
- gel stain in walnut
- faux flowers and greenery 2 bunches of each and one focal flower
- gorilla glue sticks
Instructions
- Stain the wagon wheel with gel stain and allow it to dry
- Cut the floral stems from the bunches.
- Arrange the florals on top of the wagon wheel until you get the look you want.
- Make sure the focal flower is in the middle and the other flower stems are below mimicking the same above and below.
- Take a photo with your phone to refer back to.
- Start with the bottom pieces using hot glue to adhere them to the wreath base.
- Build upon the first stems gluing all the flowers from your practice photo ending with the focal flower in the middle.
- At this point you could add a few more flowers or greenery if desired.
- Once the glue has dried hang your wreath on your door and enjoy.
