Parmesan Cheese Crisps or Tuiles

This recipe for parmesan cheese crisps is super fast and easy and a great low carb chip for dips or as part of an amazing charcuteries board.

Equipment

  • Parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese approx. 5 ounces
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning of your choices ie. everything bagel optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place 2 inch piles of grated Parmesan cheese on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Use the back of a spoon to level the cheese. You can also use a small cup upside down over the cheese and move it around to create a nice round shape.
  • Sprinkle seasoning on top if you like or leave them plain.
  • Bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden.
  • Let the crisps cool for 3 minutes then set them between paper towels to blot excess oil.
  • Repeat as needed.

Notes

You can try this with other grated cheese. However, you may need to vary the cooking time.
Store the crisps in an airtight container for about a week.
