Learn how to make a lovely neutral Thanksgiving centerpiece with a DIY succulent pumpkin. Made from a white foam pumpkin and artificial succulent plants even the brownest thumb can keep this arrangement looking good all season.

1 Serrated knife

Materials
1Medium white foam pumpkin
Floral foam
Several faux succulents
Instructions
Cut the top of the pumpkin with a serrated knife.
Cut floral foam to fit inside the pumpkin cavity.
Start in the middle and place larger succulents into the floral foam.
Then fill in with more succulents and place any trailing plants along the edges.
Make sure the plants cover the cut edge of the pumpkin.
Turn the pumpkin around and look at it from all sides to see if you need to adjust any of the plants.
Notes
If you want you could use some sheet moss or Spanish moss as filler to any empty spaces.The floral foam should hold the succulents. If you are looking for a more permanent solution try using hot glue or tacky glue to the stems of the succulents before inserting them into the floral foam.
