Fig, Olive, Gorgonzola & Pear Crostini

Fig and olive relish combined with fresh pears create a delicious crostini appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette
  • 1/2 cup Fig & Olive Relish
  • 1/3 cup Gorgonzola cheese crumbles
  • 2 Fresh Pears sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Slice the baguette into 1/4 inch rounds
  • Brush both side with olive oil
  • Toast under the broiler until golden on both sides
  • Top with relish, followed by Gorgonzola
  • Place under broiler again until cheese in bubbling
  • Top with a thin slice of pear

Notes

You can substitute fig jam, or fresh fig slices. Other blue cheese work well too.
