In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, half & half, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes.
Set the casserole dish into the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Remove the casserole dish from the refrigerator and into the oven for 45 mins.
Remove the French toast bake pan from the oven and let cool slightly.
Dust the top with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup on the side.
