Tie some twine to the ball to use as a hanger around 5 ft or longer.
Start filling the ball with larger items such as coconut fiber, wool and moss.
Then add in smaller pieces like groups of twigs, cut natural raffia strands.
Finish with bits of dried plant material, leaves, and bits of bark.
Hang the nesting material ball from a tree branch somewhere you can see from inside.
Check on the ball after some time to see if you need to refill it.

If you don't have a grapevine ball, you can make one with wild vines. Or use some chicken wire or a suet feeder to house the nesting materials.Good Nesting Material Ideas
