DIY Wooden Boot Tray For Your Foyer or Any Entrance

Make a DIY wooden boot tray with this tutorial that is quite easy. This boot tray is attractive enough to place in your entry way or foyer. It's inexpensive too!

Instructions

  • Cut long pieces of the wood to fit the tray.
  • Cut two pieces shorter to place perpendicular to the wood pieces to place on the back.
  • Line up the long pieces upside down and space evenly in th apart in the tray.
  • Place the glue side of the shorter pieces perpendicular to the long piece about 8-10 inches from each end.
  • Turn over each short piece and place some wood glue on each slat underneath.
  • Flip the short pieces back over onto the glue and press.
  • Place heavy books on the tray and allow it to dry overnight.
  • Remove the books and flip the wood over into the tray, and set it wherever you like.
