How to Make a Super Handy Phone Charger Holder

This DIY phone charger holder is not only adorable, but it's super handy! With an opening to plug it right into the wall and hold your phone at the same time. Use your favorite fabric and make one for yourself and give a few as gifts.

Equipment

  • Sewing Machine
  • Scissors

Materials

  • Quilted Fabric
  • Thread

Instructions

  • Cut two pieces of your quilted fabric, one for the pocket and one that's long enough to add a hole for hanging.
  • Double the second piece to create clean seams and extra support.
  • Turn over one of the short edges of the pocket piece and top stitch. 
  • Nestle the pocket piece inside the larger piece. The pocket piece should be a contrasting print.
  • Stitch all sides, leaving a small area on one side open for turning.
  • Cut corners, and turn the phone holder right side out.
  • Turn under the opening and top stitch from the top of the pocket around to the top of the pocket on the other side.
  • Position the power adapter in the middle of the top section and trace around it.
  • Use a tight zigzag stitch along your marking.
  • Cut out the center of your square.
  • Enjoy your new phone charger holder!
