Making Your Own Bird Bath with Plastic Pots
Learn how to create a beautiful inexpensive bird bath with garden pots.
Materials
- 2 Plastic plant pots
- 1 Large plant saucer
- Scrap wood for a flat base
- Rocks or sand to weigh the pot down.
- Gorilla Construction adhesive
- Spray paint
Instructions
- Fill the bottom pot with heavy rocks.
- Glue the pot with rocks to the wood base.
- Glue the second pot on top.
- Glue the saucer on top of the second pot.
- Allow the glue to cure for 24 hours.
- Spray paint the entire piece.
- Set in the garden and add water.
Notes
You may want to make the bottom wooden piece larger for balance.
If the bird bath seems like it might fall over in a storm be sure to place it in a protected place in your backyard.
