Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper and spray it with cooking oil.
Combine chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a large bowl.
Melt in the microwave for 1 minute on high.
Remove and stir well.
Continue to heat the mixture in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring between, until melted.
Stir in the vanilla extract and nuts.
Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Set the fudge in the refrigerator for 2 hours until hardened.
Lift the fudge from the pan and cut into squares.
Store the fudge in airtight containers on the counter for 1 week or freeze for 2 months.
