Napkin Decoupage on Fabric with Plastic Wrap

Create a beautiful fall table runner with napkin decoupage and plastic wrap.

Equipment

  • Scissors
  • Iron

Materials

  • Paper Napkins
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Parchment Paper

Instructions

  • Cut out the area you want to use from the napkins.
  • Separate the top layer of the napkin and discard the rest.
  • Place the cut-out napkin on some plastic wrap and fold it over to cover both sides.
  • Trim the plastic close to the edges of the napkin decal.
  • Place some parchment paper under the table runner.
  • Place your plastic covered napkin cut-out on the edge of the runner. Add more parchment paper on top.
  • Use a hot iron to press and adhere the plastic covered napkin onto the runner.
  • Repeat with as many napkins as desired.

Notes

You can probably spot clean this runner, but I don't think you will be able to wash this in a washing machine.
