Making Parmesan Cheese Crisps
Step 1. Place mounds of grated cheese on a parchment-lined baking pan.

Step 2. Use the back of a spoon or an offset spatula to level and flatten slightly.

Step 3. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Step 4. Let them cool for a few minutes and then transfer the Parmesan crisps between paper towels to blot any excess oil.

Don't they look great? You can repeat the process until you make as many crisps as you like.

You can also use a small cup to help define the cheese mounds if you like.
In addition, you can ramp up the flavor by adding seasoning to the top. Here I made half with everything bagel seasoning, and they were so good.
These will keep in an airtight container for about a week. Excess moisture may make them a little chewy. Honestly, I didn't mind it.

Use them with dips, on a charcuterie board, or as a nice edible garnish for soup or salads.
So easy and so tasty. Why haven't I tried this before?
