So I wanted to show you another easy bouquet idea. This time from Trader Joe's, who often has great flowers at affordable prices. However, their warehouse in Philadelphia was hit will all this horrendous snow, and all they had were a few sad-looking tulips and few pretty nice looking bunches of hyacinth flowers. So I bought the hyacinths for $5.00 and brought them home. I placed them in a small glass vase, and added a few drops of blue and green food coloring to the water for a little something extra.
Let me tell you, the fragrance is fantastic. I can smell them from the next room, and last night when hubby and I got in from a nice Valentine's dinner and movie, it was the first thing I noticed walking in the door.

You will be happy to know that I took your advice today and bought 2 bunches of flowers for some friends' birthdays. 🙂 I didn't find hyacinths but found some other pretty purple and pink flowers.

That's great. You've got some lucky friends. Still waiting for the snow to melt here in pa. Going to have to get back to TJs soon though the hyacinths are still going strong

How beautiful! We have a Trader Joe's near us now. I will have to look for some there.
My daughter-in-law is crazy about flowers and likes to buy new ones every week. It really is a nice thing to enjoy, especially if you can find reasonable bunches.
Thanks for the nudge to add some natural beauty to my home. And thanks for stopping by Beautify and Organize. 🙂
