1. Round Steel Basket Planter from Plow & Hearth
This beautiful planter would look great at any front door, on a porch or patio, and it even comes with its own liner. It is a bit pricey, but hey, you can always ask your sibling to pitch in. They'll probably thank you for doing all the work.
2. Foldable Wooden Plant Stand
How pretty is this rustic plant stand. Made for the outdoors and foldable too. I could see using this for all kinds of items when entertaining. Drinks and appetizers set among a few pots. What a great setting for a summer get together.
3. Invincibelle Spirit II by Proven Winners
I can tell you from experience that this shrub is a proven winner in my garden. The only thing is, I have the original Invincibelle Spirit. This second generation variety is said to be even better, with a sturdier growth habit, and larger blooms.
4. Radishes Flour Sack by Mary Lake Thompson
Pretty dish towels in a garden theme are great gifts for mom. You can give alone or use to wrap up a nice bottle of wine, high quality oil olive, even a beautiful spa lotion. Flour sacks are super absorbent and do a great job in the kitchen. This one may be too pretty to use.
5. Soil Scoop by Fiskers
On the more practical side, I think most gardeners would love a soil scoop. I normally use an old nursery pot to dig out soil when planting all my pots. That method works okay, and they are free, but I wouldn't complain if someone gave me a scoop like this one.
6. Stargazer Lily
You can never go wrong with a plant. These stargazer lilies are so pretty. They can be planted in the spring and will bloom in mid-summer. They also look great in centerpieces, in fact, you often see them in weddings as they are both fragrant and beautiful.
7. Small Garden Hod from Gardener's Supply
I adore this garden troughs. They are so nice looking, and how great will they be to gather flowers, veggies, and berries from the garden. Take the hose to them for quick and easy cleaning, as they will easily drain right through the open weave frame.
8. Cucina Purifying Hand Soap
This one was made for the cook in mind, helping to remove odors like garlic and onions when cooking in the kitchen. The bottle is very pretty and I can tell you from experience that the scent is wonderful (there are a few to choose from) and they really work well. Something a gardener could use I think.
9.Fiskars 30 Gallon Kangaroo Gardening Bag
My husband bought one of these and I think I use it more than he does. It's so light and easy to drag around. I love how it shrinks down to nothing and can be hung on the wall when not in use.
10. Turtle Cast Iron Metal Key Hider
Last on the list is this cute rustic turtle that doubles and a place to hide your key. Do people still use keys? I love the shade of green and think it would look great among the plants in the garden.
So what do you think? Are these great gardening gifts for mom? How about dad, or any other gardener you know?
Carole @ Garden Up Green
Great ideas think I'll take the stargazers - they were my wedding flower. Love them! Casablanca are another beauty. Next garden I'll be adding both.
