These DIY Thanksgiving favors are easy to put together with a printable tag adding an additional decorative touch to your holiday table.
If you like to host Thanksgiving this easy favor treat might be right up your alley. This year I'm using them for a Friendsgiving party. They look pretty on the table or in a bowl or basket for your guests. Even if you are a guest it would be a nice gift for your hosts.

How to Make Thanksgiving Favors
Supplies
- Popping Corn Kernels
- Cellophane Bags
- Brown Kraft Paper
- Thin Orange Twine
- Thick Natural Twine
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Printer
Step 1. Pick up a bag of popping corn kernels. I got this bag of rainbow popping kernels online. They come in different colors but I liked this multi-colored look.
Step 2. Fill a cellophane bag with a wide gusset to make a pumpkin shape. Tie it off with a piece of thin orange twine or ribbon.
Step 3. Cut off any excess of the bag on top leaving about 1/2 inch.
Step 4. Use a hot glue gun to glue thick natural twine above the tied bag to look like a pumpkin stem.
Step 5. Print out the gift tags by clicking on the image above. Cut them out and punch a small hole in the corner to thread onto the orange twine.
Other Filler Ideas
You don't have to use popcorn corn for your filler however, I'd stick with smaller items. Make them readily edible with already popped flavored popcorn like cheese or caramel corn. Or fill them with chocolate candies such as M&Ms, Reese's Pieces, or Sixlets. Of course, though I'm not a fan, you can also go with candy corn.
Place your gifts at each place setting of your Thanksgiving dinner table.
Or place them in a nice bowl or basket for guests to take home.
