    Tulip Wreath DIY - Fast and Inexpensive to Create

    Try this white tulip wreath DIY that can be created in under 30 minutes for less than $30. It's a great way to welcome spring into your home.

    There's something so fresh and sweet about white tulips. During the spring you can get bushes of artificial tulips at Michaels or the dollar store for a couple of bucks making this tutorial an easy and cost effective craft for your spring decor.

    Supplies for tulip wreath including a wreath form, wire cutters, tulips and pins.

    Supplies

    • 14 inch green foam wreath form
    • 8 white tulip bushes with 7 stems each
    • Package of greening pins
    • Wire cutters
    • Super glue or hot glue gun

    Making a Tulip Wreath

    Step 1. - Cut the flower stems from the main bush stem.

    Step 2. Gather three tulip stems together slightly fanned out.

    Step 3. Use a greening pin, attach the first bunch of stems to the wreath form about a couple of inches below the petals while carefully pushing the leaves to the side.

    Step 4. Continue in the same manner pinning groups of three stems slightly lower than the group above.

    Note: Include the stems in your pinning from the prior groups if you can.

    Step 5. Set the wreath up and look for holes.

    Step 6. Cut a few shorter stems of flowers and insert them directly into the foam where needed until the wreath looks full and balanced.

    Step 7. Place another pin in the back of the wreath form to act as a hanger. Add a little super glue or use a hot glue gun to secure it in place.

    Step 8. Hang your wreath on the front door, above the mantel or anywhere you want to enjoy its beauty.

    This beautiful spring wreath with white tulips has a great fresh look. However, you can use pink tulips or whatever favorite color you like as you can usually find the tulips in multiple colors. It looks great on our front door and is a welcome reminder that spring is just around the bend.

    Tulip Wreath DIY in Fresh White and Green

    This easy and inexpensive Spring Tulip Wreath is fresh and bright and a great way to decorate your front door for spring.

    Equipment

    • Wire cutters or sturdy scissors

    Materials

    • 1 14 inch green foam wreath form
    • 8 Artificial white tulip bushes with 7 stems each
    • 1 package Greening pins
    • Super glue or a hot glue gun

    Instructions

    • Cut the stems from the main grouped handle from each tulip bush.
    • Gather three stems at a time fanning them out and then use a pin to press them together into the wreath on the face or front side.
    • Gather a second group of three and place them just below the first group covering the stems and pinning them into place.
    • Continue using groups of three to cover the face of the wreath including previous stems if needed.
    • Stand the wreath up and look for holes.
    • Cut shorter stems and poke them directly into the wreath filling any holes.
    • Use one last pin on the back to create a wreath hanger. Use some super glue or hot glue to help secure it into place.

      I made one of these last year with my Daughter. It is so beautiful and can be made in so many colors. She made four of them for her children’s teachers and the school principal and secretary.

      I am hosting a class at my home to make them with eight lady friends in early April. Everyone chose a different color! My daughter taught me how to make them with a grapevine wreath. It was so easy. The tulip stems are on sale at Michael’s this month. Supplies came to less than $20!
