How to Make a Fabric Nail File Holder
- Cut out a piece of fabric 4 times the length plus 1/2 inch for the seam allowance, and 2 times the width plus 1/2 inch.
2. Fold the fabric in half with the right side together and sew the sides together leaving the top edge open 1/4 inch on the sides.
3. Turn the fabric right side out and press with an iron.
4. Turn the top raw edge under, press together, and stitch across the top.
5. Then fold the fabric almost in half leaving about 1/2 inch at the top and sew along the sides and bottom.
Now you can easily find your nail file and keep it protected too.

Instructions
- Cut out fabric 4 times the length plus .5 inch for seams, and 2 times the width plus .5 inch.
- Fold the fabric in half with the right sides together and press.
- Sew 1/4 inch seam on each side leaving a 1/4 inch open at the top for turning.
- Turn the fabric right side out and press.
- Carefully fold under the top opening and press.
- Sew 1/4 inch seam on the top open area.
- Fold the sewn end over the fabric about one inch from the top and then sew close to the edge along the side across the bottom and up the other side.
