Learn how to make these delicious kitchen sink cookies. A drop cookie that is laden with more than the average candy/chip ingredients. Try my exact recipe or choose your favorite mix-ins to make them your own.

What are Kitchen Sink Cookies?
For me, a kitchen sink cookie is a chocolate chip cookie base recipe with everything but the kitchen sink. Specifically, I've added 5 different mix-ins in addition to mini chocolate chips for this decadent cookie recipe. If you are looking for a lower carb cookie you can try my sister's Keto Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.

One is crushed pretzels. This can easily be done by placing the pretzels in a plastic bag and using a rolling pin to crush them.

Here's the size I ended up with. You could make them a little larger but I think the key is to try and keep all of the ingredients about the same size.

Doesn't this batter look good? The ratio of dough to candy/chips/nuts is probably 50/50. That made it a little hard to form cookies. But it's definitely doable and the result is great.
You can use all kinds of mix-ins in your cookies. I used a full 12 oz bag of mini chocolate chips and then added 5 - 1/2 cups of other things like butterscotch chips, pretzels, pecans, and more.
Mix-in Option Ideas
- dark chocolate chips or chunks
- different nuts such as walnuts, pistachios or macadamia
- peanut butter chips
- raisins or craisins
- oatmeal
- shredded coconut
- mini m&ms
- reese's pieces
- peppermint crunch
- a pinch of spice like cinnamon, anise, or even cayenne

I made these cookies big enough to fit 10 to a standard cookie sheet, so this recipe will yield about 3 dozen cookies. Make them larger and you will have fewer cookies or make them smaller and you will get more. Either way, they will be delicious.

Usually, I'm not a fan of white chips but they added a great pop of white visually and they had a nice and creamy texture so they ended up being a good choice.

It's just another fun way to get creative in the kitchen. I'll definitely be making them again.
