I've been blogging for a long time now, and fall is probably my favorite season. I love decorating for the fall, and next to Christmas, I have so many great DIY fall home decor ideas, I thought it was time to share some of my favorites with you in one post.

Fall Decorating Ideas
Today's post is all about fall home decor projects that have been popular over the years. I hope one or two will inspire you this season.

Fall Wreaths
I always create a new fall wreath, sometimes more than one. One for the front porch and sometimes one over the fireplace. Can you ever have too many?
- The image above is a relatively recent faux fall wreath on a grapevine base. The artificial berries and greenery made this wreath perfect for fall.
- Paint pinecones in shades of autumn for a festive fall wreath.
- Use my template to create flowers from felt in all the warm, cozy colors of autumn.
- Another grapevine base was used to add some simple, inexpensive dollar store pumpkins and leaves for a quick and cheap wreath.
- How about using grapevines to create a pumpkin shape to hang on your front door?

- Make beautiful, real acorn napkin ties for the table.
- Create a fun pumpkin tea towel with simple appliques.
- These easy DIY fall gnomes are so cute and easy, and sure to bring a smile to all who greet them.
- Pick up or recycle some faux pumpkins with alcohol inks to add a little pizzazz.
